Wondering how it compares? The chicken country sausage is a little lighter and milder than our regenerative, pasture-raised pork breakfast sausage, but it’s seasoned in the same familiar “country sausage” style.

You can cook and use it the same way in skillets, casseroles, and gravy.

How to Cook/Use Country-Style Chicken Sausage

Cook this sausage just like traditional bulk breakfast sausage. Brown gently in a skillet over medium heat, breaking it up as it cooks. Because it’s made with chicken, avoid very high heat and pull it once fully cooked and lightly browned.

Easy ideas: breakfast bowls with eggs and potatoes, biscuits and gravy, sausage-stuffed squash, breakfast casseroles, or mixed into pasta and rice dishes. It freezes well and works great as a “backup protein” for quick meals.
